London with a twist, from the Royal Quarter to the Street Art areas…
Discover the Royal Borough of Westminster and trendy street art areas, accompanied by your French-speaking expert and comfortably seated in the back of your private London taxi.
This 3.5-hour adventure allows you to discover iconic Royal London as well as the new street art neighbourhood, a perfect balance to please everyone (teenagers, parents, grandparents or London enthusiasts).
Regular stops for an introduction to the monuments and neighbourhoods you will discover throughout your trip. Your guide’s entertaining commentary will give you an original or ‘subtitled’ version of the capital.
Here are some of the monuments and neighbourhoods you will discover along the way:
First, the royal and political district of Westminster in all its forms:
We will of course pass by the palaces that house the royal family, Buckingham Palace, St James’s Palace... and we will be able to see if the Queen is there to welcome us.
Take a detour to see Big Ben, 10 Downing Street, the London Eye, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Palace, Westminster Abbey and even Westminster School along the way.
This royal area has been home to the royal family’s suppliers with their Royal Warrants of Appointment since the 18th century, as well as exclusive clubs known as Gentlemen’s Clubs.
Discover new places for your last-minute shopping and immerse yourself in the surrounding aristocratic culture!
You are in the quintessentially British style neighbourhood, where you can have your shoes and suits made to measure, find a bowler hat or prepare your picnic for St James’s Park in a luxury grocery store… perhaps you would like to go there in a Rolls Royce or Aston Martin? No problem, the dealerships are next door.
In the second part, we head to alternative London, with street art and the neighbourhoods of Brick Lane and Shoreditch, London’s Silicon Valley.
A change of scenery, but the royal remains in Westminster and we find ourselves in the working-class neighbourhoods, following in the footsteps of artists not yet known to the general public but millionaire art dealers nonetheless… such as a certain “Banksy”, for example.
Let’s revisit some of the places where Banksy used to meet up with his artist friends, and where you can still find originals in the city centre… but where can you get your hands on a real Banksy?
The tour continues in East London, where street art comes alive before your eyes, amidst vintage and trendy shops catering to hipsters and gamers, pop-up shops, gamer shops, bagel shops, and more.
STIK, FAKE, LAZINC, BIRD, ONE TRUTH, SPAYCHILD, INVADER… have you heard of them? Come and discover their latest messages.
After a few hours spent in the streets of the East End, you’ll want one thing: to go back as soon as possible! But be warned, the artwork may already have disappeared under the spray paint of a new artist…
